About Missouri Senate District 17
Senate District 17, located in Clay County, encompasses the cities of Kansas City, North Kansas City, Gladstone, Claycomo and Pleasant Valley.
Spanning all of southern Clay County, its northern boundary extends to 132nd St. The district's eastern boundary is defined by I-35, and as a result of redistricting, it no longer includes the city limits of Liberty.
